CAT is the major MBA entrance in the country covering most MBA colleges. We recommend you take this
exam in order to widen the range of prospective B-schools. If you are scoring constantly above a 80
percentile in mock tests, you stand a good chance to score high percentile (above 90) in CAT.

XAT - To take or not to take


The XAT exam is us considered for admission majorly in XLRI as well as few other elite colleges like SP Jain,
and good colleges like IIT Madras, TAPMI, and Great Lakes etc. The difficulty level of XAT is higher to that
of CAT. We recommend you take XAT if you are constantly scoring above 85% in your mock tests.

SNAP - To take or not to take


SNAP exam is used for admitting students in various Symbiosis colleges, of which SIBM (Pune) ranks the
highest. SCMHRD and SIIB are the other two high-quality colleges with specialized programs in Human
Resources and International Business. SNAP is relatively easier to CAT in terms of difficulty level and you
can take this exam if you are scoring between 60-85 percentiles in CAT.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria of Institutes accepting the NMAT scores have remained the same for several years.
However, before applying for NMAT 2018 and the various Institutes, candidates are advised to go through
their official brochure. Some of the common NMAT by GMAC eligibility criteria are –

 The applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3) from a recognized University.

 The minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 50 percent.

 Candidates who will be appearing for the final year of their qualifying marks can also apply.

 There is no age limit.

NMAT - To take or not to take


NMAT exam is used for admission in different Narsee Monjee colleges in Mumbai, Bangalore and
Hyderabad. Few other colleges also accept NMAT score like IBS Business School, Hyderabad etc. The
difficulty level of NMAT is slightly easier as compared to CAT. So prepping for CAT will take care of your
NMAT preparation. We recommend you take NMAT if you are constantly scoring above a 70 percentile in
your CAT mocks.

TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2018.

Eligibility
 Aspirants should have a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3) or an equivalent qualification in any
discipline from a recognised university.

 Candidates should have a valid score of at least one of the entrance exams among CAT 2017, XAT
2018 and GMAT (2016 onwards).

 A Foreign National (FN) student can also apply if he/ she holds a foreign passport with valid GMAT
scores (2016 onwards) of 600 or more.

 An NRI student is eligible to apply with a valid GMAT score (2016 onwards).

 Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for MICAT 2018.

 There is no age limit for applying MICAT.

University rule.

college among colleges that accept MH CET scores. There’s a strong weightage for students from

MDI Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for PGPM / PGP-HRM / PGP-IM

The candidates must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both X and XII.

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks or
equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State
legislature in India.

Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) and
completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June, 2017 can also apply.

Eligibility for NMP / PGP-EM

The candidates must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both X and XII.

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks or
equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State
legislature in India

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of post qualification executive work experience as on
December 31. Further, an applicant should be either:

A Class I officer belonging to any Central or State Services, or

A Class I officer in a public sector undertaking, including banks and financial institutions, or

An officer in a private sector corporation shouldering adequate management responsibilities

Eligibility for PGP-PPM


All India Services and Class I Service officers from Central and State Governments, sponsored by DoPT,
Govt. of India are eligible for the program.

The officer should not be more than 50 years of age on the date of commencement of the programme (53
years in case of officers belonging to SC and ST).

Eligibility for PT-PGPM

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks or
equivalent CGPA in any discipline.

The candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
CGPA.

A minimum of 3 years of post qualification executive work experience (excluding stipendiary / training
period) as on 31st March is required for the April Batch and 30th September for the October Batch.

IMI Eligibility Criteria


To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Programmes, the participants must possess a bachelor’s
equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a
recognised university in India or abroad (recognised by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities ).

However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of
applicants for the programme. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate
must entail a minimum of three years education, after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2
system or equivalent.

Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided
they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2018. Candidates who are
unable to comply with this requirement are liable to be rejected from the programme. It is desirable that
candidates complete all academic requirements before enrolling for the programme to help them keep pace
with the rigour and assessment parameters of the programme.

Eligibility Criteria
