International Climate Protection Fellowships

For young climate experts from transition and developing countries


interested in conducting a project in Germany

The fellowship allows future leaders to spend a year in are involved with issues relating to the scientific, engineering,

choice in the field of climate protection. Fellows are free to change. Up to 20 fellowships will be granted, funded under

Requirements Benefits
■ Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree completed ■ monthly fellowship amount between

less than 12 years ago € 2,150 and € 2,650


■ clearly visible leadership potential ■ three-week introductory seminar, several-day training

■ extensive theme-related professional experience or course, reception at the Federal Environment Ministry
a successfully completed doctorate ■ up to 2 months intensive German course

■ mentoring agreement signed by a host in Germany ■ family allowances, lump sum for travel expenses
