In some expressions we use make and in others
we use do. For example:
The actor did a dance and sang a song in the audition.

Work in groups. Write down your all-time favourite film. Which is the most popular

film in your group? Which is the most popular film in your class?

2 How are you Feeling?

Work in pairs. What are you interested in? What makes you depressed?

ffi Listen and match the pictures to the five conversations. Write the number of
the conversation next to the corresponding picture. .

ffi How do you pronounce these adjectives? Write them in the correct column, then
listen to check.

Two of the adjectives are not used in the conversations. Draw a picture of one of
them and show it to your partner. Can they guess your adjective?

Add five more words to the table. Compare your answers with others.

Work in pairs. Describe what is happening in these photos. Talk about how you might
feel in these situations.
