to bg housing aThis will lead to fan not aligned inside its
housing. Needing to make adjusting of gap
by moving diffuser until uniform gap all
around impeller & diffuser (some fans
have that ability.
The adjusting procedure will be as follows:
1. Install the housing so that it touches two
perpendicular positioning bolts.
2. Tighten bearing housing so as the bearing
outer race and housing are one unit.
3. Put dial gauge on shaft and the tip shall
touch and move around bearing outer race
(so as to make sure the bearing outer race
(& of course housing) and the shaft are
totally aligned. If not rotate housing left or
right or add shims to tilt it to the front or
back.
