Daily

1 Check fans are running smoothly and without vibration

2 Check obstructions on guards
3 Check anti vibration mountings and canvass connections
4 Check pulleys and belts for wear and alignment.
5 Check bearing for noise and play
6 Check security flanges, brackets, supports and components.
Generally clean casing, motor, fan, shaft, etc using a soft cloth, cleaning
7 agent, soft brush and vacuum cleaner. De rust time and re-paint any
damage paint finishes.
8 Clean area adjacent to fan.
Check security and cleanliness of electrical connections. Clean inside and
9
outside terminal boxes and control boxes with a soft cloth.
10 Check for air leaks
check fan wheel for free rotation, balance, damage, corrosion, fatigue
11
and build up of contaminants. Clean or repair as necessary.
Check condition of access panels and seal and ensure they seat
12
correctly.
13 Check running current of fan motor.
