Roles & Responsibilities as "Generalist HR"

Recruitment & Resourcing: Develope pipeline for positions/ Lead hiring process & coordinated with team
to screen resumes, interview candidates, conduct reference checks & orient new employees/ Manage the
complete recruitment life-cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of
manpower needs/ Prepared of monthly headcount MIS Reports/ Update management for checking
Attrition/ Plan human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional &
operational areas and conducting selection interviews/ Manage induction/ Prpare & implementing
personnel manual.

Payroll Management & Operational HR: Handling payroll processing function involving computation of
salary, preparation of salary certificates and assessment and filing of statutory returns/ Managing payroll
function for employees involving processing of, joining expenses with reference to policies, loans
processing, final settlements and controlling management & employee payrolls/ Processing joining,
separation orders, increments, promotion orders, departmental changes and other employee related
documents/ Handling the employees & contract staff and ensuring statutory and local compliances.

Strategic HRM: Consult with HODs to implement HR policies & procedures in line with core
organizational objectives/ Coordinating for the development of departmental budgets and ensuring
adherence to the same/ Enhance the operational effectiveness by implementing HR Strategy/ Formulate
HR policies and procedures and accordingly educate & inform the team and employees/ Identify and
assist in evaluating HR-related issues, trends and implications to maintain company culture and values.

Performance Appraisal & Training: Implementing increment and incentive plans, managing appraisal
process across the levels and establishing framework for substantiating Performance Appraisal System
linked to reward management/ Conceptualizing & developing training & development initiatives for
improved productivity/ Identifying training needs across levels through mapping of skills required for
particular positions and analysis of the existing level of competencies/ Identify companywide training
needs & prepare training calendar/ Involve in planning, coordinating, conducting, & evaluating the training
sessions.

Employee Relations and Motivation: Work closely with teams to address employee concerns/ Develop
employee recognition program to equitably recognize & honor outstanding work of staff. Conducted
employee engagement survey/ Establish processes to maintain regular communication in the form of
meeting and face-to-face interactions with employees/ Celebrate employee birthday and festivals at office
Display notices, circulars, abstract of Acts, photographs on the notice board from time to time.

General Administration: Maintaining all statutory records/registers required as per provisions of


Contract Labour Act, AP Shops & Establishment Act, Min. Wages Act, PF Act, ESI Act. Copies of monthly
challans paid to PF/ESI/ a/c, correspondence/returns filed with disciplinary actions, labour dept, liaison
documents with external agencies, vendors, etc.
