Protocol of On Load Trial of Main DG and Standby DG in Unit #2

Condition of Main D G and Standby DG Auto Start: Power Supply of both incomer from UNIT
PMCC OFF
Following operation are carried out :

1. Both Incomer from Unit PMCC to Emergency Board made Off, resulting Emergency board got dead.

2. Main DG and Standby DG Auto Started.


Main DG came on load withun 19 second and after 3 minute of successful run, Auto Off command
initiated to Standby DG.

3. All Emergency DC Equipments Auto started as AC Power supplyo f Emergency Bus not available.

4. AC JOP, Running Primary water pump, Seal Oil Pump, APH auto started after supply restoration from
Main DG.

5. Start Command given to AOP and SG DMCW Pump .


Again second AOP & SG DMCW started to increase the load on Main DG and achieved load upto 780
amp.

6. After successful trial of Main DG, Emerency Board had been taken on AC Power Supply and Main
DG made OFF.

Following operation are carried out for Load Trail of Standby DG :

1. Main DG Emergency Board Breaker put on manual mode.

2. Both Incomer from Unit PMCC to Emergency Board made Off, Emergency board got dead.

3. Main DG and Standby DG Auto Started.


As Main DG Breaker in Manual Mode to ensure Main DG would not come in service.

4. All Emergency DC Equipments Auto started as AC Power supply of Emergency Bus not available.

5. Manually charged Standby DG ‘s Emergency Board Breaker.


AC JOP, Running Primary water pump, Seal Oil Pump, APH auto started after supply restoration from
Standby DG.

6. 6.Start Command given to AOP and SG DMCW Pump .


Again second AOP & SG DMCW started to increase the load on Main DG and achieved load upto 780
amp.

7. After successful trial of Standby DG, Emergency Board had been taken on AC Power and Main DG
made OFF.
