Open Uncertainty and optimization process form Utilities module in the Process pane

Insert base case; select this from the case tab. Volume calculation case

Click on Edit workflow and just leave Auto on the 3D Grid, Make contacts and Volume
calculation process. The other processes can be disabled.

Double click on the Make contact process in order to open the dialog window. Select
the contact that will change during the uncertainty process; remove the number and
specify the variable; in this example we used $D. Click Apply and OK.

Go to the Variables tab. Here you will find the variable that was introduced in the
Make contact process. Select Uniform distribution and set the Arguments; max and
min values for variable $D.

Go to the Uncertainty tab and define the number of samples that you would like to
run. Click Apply and Test in order to check the workflow; if the Test is ok, click Run.

Once the run has finished, you will find all the cases in the case tab.

In order to get the results of the process, go to the case tab, right mouse click on the
uncertainty process and select Show variables spreadsheet

A dialog window will appear, go to Show volumetrics and select HCPV oil. This will be
added to the table.

Select $D and the HCPV oil Column and copy and paste them into Excel and proceed
to create the scatter plot shown in the next slide.
