ATR on Flight Safety Documents System

1 Operator not nominated any person as Nodal Officer for
compliance of flight safety documentation system. Hence no
process for following :-
1. Review the document on a yearly basis
2. Review after major events, technology changes, changes in
safety regulations
3. Maintain accurate, detailed records of communication for
reviewing and validation process considering its effect on
entire flight safety documentation system
2 Flight safety documents system was not validated before
deployment, under realistic condition
3 No document cell as given in FSDS manual does exist within
the organization.
4 Tracking system does not include a procedure to verify that
operational personnel have the most recent updates.
5 Information contained in each the Operators document has
not been properly categorized depending on Time critical,
Time sensitive etc. More so sequencing is not being done to
place the time critical information early

Capt. Jaswant Singh, Junior Pilot has
been nominated as Nodal Officer for
Flight Safety Documents System and
process to review on yearly basis or
after major events etc would be
completed in time and detailed
records thereof would also be
maintained in prescribed formats.
Flight safety documents system has
now been validated under realistic
condition
Document cell as given in FSDS
manual has been established.
Procedure to verify that operational
personnel have most recent updates
is being included in tracking system.

Gap analysis in respect of existing safety
arrangements as compared to those necessary
for SMS function has been prepared and will
be made available to next audit.
Safety policy has been communicated
effectively throughout the organization.
Safety committee is functional as monthly
meetings of the committee are conducted.
Recently in the month of Oct., 2017 we have
gone through the proving flight in which ERP
has been tested.
Required documents are being maintained
according to norms.
Procedure for voluntary reporting system has
been made functional.
Procedures for checklists are being reviewed
whenever significant changes in the
organization occur.
Safety surveys are now being carried out.
Process for communication of safety related
information to Operators has been formulated.
10 Amended SMS manual as per revised CAR section 1 Amendment of SMS manual as per revised CAR
Series C part 1 needs to be submitted Section 1, Series C Part 1 is under process and
will be submitted as soon as possible.

11. Chief of Flight safety has not been nominated In view of size of organization, Accountable
Manager Capt. Keshri Singh is performing the
duties of Chief of Flight Safety also.
12. CVR monitoring records are not available CVR monitoring records is available in the
organization and will be made available during
next audit.
