II. Discussion
1. The First Law (Inertia) states that a particle at rest, having a constant velocity
tends to remain in this state provided the particle is not subjected to an
unbalanced load.

The Second Law (Acceleration) states that an unbalanced force which

experiences acceleration has same direction as the force and magnitude that is
directly proportional to the force.

The Third Law (Action-Reaction) states that the mutual force of action between
two particles is equal, opposite and collinear. Also states that for every action
there should be an equal and opposite reaction.

2. Equilibrium is a state of balance between two opposing forces or actions that is

either static (as in a body acted on forces whose resultant is zero) or dynamic (as
in a reversible chemical reaction when the rates of reaction in both directions are
equal)

cylinders are removed.
