- Graham Crackers
- Frosting/Icing
- Paper Plates
- Spoon
- Sheet of paper & pen/pencil
- FOOD WAIVER

Instructions:
1. Fold your sheet of paper into three columns.
2. The Graham crackers represent Earths crust. Each student must have two

inches apart. Have them slowly push the two layers toward each other and
observe what happens.
4. In one of the columns on your paper, draw what you see using arrows to
show the direction or movement of the crackers. Describe what is happening
and label this column converging.
5. Now put the Graham cracker pieces next to each other and move them apart.
In another column on the paper, draw what you are seeing using arrows to
indicate the movement and direction of the crackers. Describe what is
happening and label this column diverging.
6. Lastly, put the Graham crackers next to each other and move one toward the
top of the plate and one toward the bottom. In the last column on your
paper, draw what you see using arrows to show the direction or movement
of the crackers. Label this last column transform.
7. Once you are done with the lab, a short PowerPoint will be shown. Complete
your columns and answer the rest of your questions to finish your lab work.
8. You may eat your Graham crackers when all work is complete. Enjoy! J
