Cinderella

I guess you think you know this story. And lost one slipper on the stair.
You dont. The real ones much more gory. The prince was on it like a dart,
The phoney one, the one you know, He pressed it to his pounding heart,
Was cooked up years and years ago, The girl this slipper fits, he cried,
And made to sound all soft and sappy Tomorrow morn shall be my bride!
Just to keep the children happy. Then rather carelessly, I fear,
Mind you, they got the first bit right, He placed it on a crate of beer.
The bit where, in the dead of night,
The Ugly Sisters, jewels and all, At once, one of the Ugly Sisters,
Departed for the Palace Ball, (The one whose face was blotched with blisters)
While darling little Cinderella Sneaked up and grabbed the dainty shoe,
Was locked up in the slimy cellar, And quickly flushed it down the loo.
Where rats who wanted things to eat, Then in its place she calmly put
Began to nibble at her feet. The slipper from her own left foot.

She bellowed Help! and Let me out! Next day, the Prince went charging down
The Magic Fairy heard her shout. To knock on all the doors in town
Appearing in a blaze of light, In every house, the tension grew.
She said, My dear, are you alright? Who was the owner of the shoe?
All right? cried Cindy. Cant you see The shoe was long and very wide.
I feel as rotten as can be! (A normal foot got lost inside.)
She beat her fist against the wall, Also, it smelled a wee but icky.
And shouted, Get me to the Ball! (The owners feet were hot and sticky.)
There is a Disco at the Palace! Thousands of eager people came
The rest have gone and I am jalous! To try it on, but all in vain
I want a dress! I want a coach! Now came the Ugly Sisters go
An earrings and a diamond brooch! One tried it on. The Prince screamed, No!
And silver slippers, two of those But she screamed, Yes! It fits! Whoopee!
And lovely nylon panty-hose So now youve got to marry me!
Done up like that Ill guarantee The Prince went white from ear to ear.
The handsome Prince will fall for me! He muttered, Let me out of here.
The Fairy said, Hang on a tick. Oh no you dont, you made a vow
She gave her wand a mighty flick, Theres no way you can back out now!
And quickly, in no time at all, Off with her head! the Prince roared back.
Cindy was at the Palace Ball! They chopped it off with one big whack.
Her head went crashing to the ground.
It made the Ugly Sisters wince It bounced a bit and rolled around.
To see her dancing with the Prince. In the kitchen, peeling spuds
Then midnight struck. She shouted, Heck! Cinderella heard the thuds
Ive got to run to save my neck! Of a bouncing head upon the floor,
The Prince cried, No! Alas! Alack! And poked her own head round the door.
He grabbed her dress to hold her back. Whats all the racket? Cindy cried.
As Cindy shouted, Let me go! Mind your own bizz, the Prince replied.
The dress was ripped from head to toe. Poor Cindys heard was torn to shreds.
She ran out in her underwear, My Prince! She thought. He chops off heads!

Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf

As soon as Wolf began to feel In came the little girl in red.

That he would like a decent meal, She stopped. She stared. And then she said,
He went and knocked on Grandma's door. 'What great big ears you have, Grandma.'
When Grandma opened it, she saw 'All the better to hear you with,' the Wolf
The sharp white teeth, the horrid grin, replied.
And Wolfie said, 'May I come in?' 'What great big eyes you have, Grandma.'
Poor Grandmamma was terrified, said Little Red Riding Hood.
'He's going to eat me up!' she cried. 'All the better to see you with,' the Wolf
And she was absolutely right. replied.
He ate her up in one big bite.
But Grandmamma was small and tough,
He sat there watching her and smiled.
And Wolfie wailed, 'That's not enough!
He thought, I'm going to eat this child.
I haven't yet begun to feel
Compared with her old Grandmamma,
That I have had a decent meal!'
She's going to taste like caviar.
He ran around the kitchen yelping,
'I've got to have a second helping!'
Then Little Red Riding Hood said, 'But
Then added with a frightful leer,
Grandma,
'I'm therefore going to wait right here
what a lovely great big furry coat you have on.'
Till Little Miss Red Riding Hood
Comes home from walking in the wood.'
'That's wrong!' cried Wolf. 'Have you forgot
To tell me what BIG TEETH I've got?
He quickly put on Grandma's clothes,
Ah well, no matter what you say,
(Of course he hadn't eaten those)
I'm going to eat you anyway.'
He dressed himself in coat and hat.
The small girl smiles. One eyelid flickers.
He put on shoes, and after that,
She whips a pistol from her knickers.
He even brushed and curled his hair,
She aims it at the creature's head,
Then sat himself in Grandma's chair.
And bang bang bang, she shoots him dead.
A few weeks later, in the wood,
I came across Miss Riding Hood.
But what a change! No cloak of red,
No silly hood upon her head.
She said, 'Hello, and do please note
My lovely furry WOLFSKIN COAT.'
