RESOLUTION

DECLARING JANUARY 19, 2017 (THURSDAY) AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY

FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF GUIGUINTO, BULACAN

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Guiguinto will celebrate its 19 th year of

Halamanan Festival from January 16-22, 2017 in conjunction with the Feast
Day of St. Ildephonse of Toledo, its patron saint on January 23, 2017;

WHEREAS, one of the many festive activities to be held in this week-

long celebration is the Indakan sa Kalye on January 19, 2017 to be
participated in mostly by students of different public and private schools
in this municipality;

WHEREAS, the people of Guiguinto should be given the chance to enjoy

and participate in the various activities in this significant dual event
and enough time to give thanks to its patron saint and unto the Lord for
all the blessings and the various bountiful graces and good things bestowed
upon them throughout the year;
NOW THEREFORE:

On motion of Coun. Cezar L. Mendoza and duly seconded by all members

present;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to declare January 19, 2017
(Thursday) as a special non-working holiday for the Municipality of
Guiguinto, Bulacan.
