Core Values and Related Values

1. Physical Dimension

- Is critical for overall well-being and is the most visible of the various dimensions of health, which also
include social, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and environmental health.

In Physical Dimension, the core values are health and harmony of nature.

Holistic health- a state of physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease
or infirmity.
Cleanliness- is both the abstract state of being clean and free from dirt, and the habit of achieving and
maintaining that state. Cleanliness is often achieved through cleaning.
Physical fitness- is a state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects
of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through
proper nutrition,[1] moderate-vigorous physical exercise,[2]and sufficient rest
Reverence and Respect for Life- People must take care their bodies and guard against the destruction
of human life.
Environmental Care- Calls for a sense of caring and responsibility for the environment.

2. Intellectual Dimension

- It is the full integration of states of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The model used by our
campus includes social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual and physical
wellness. Each of these seven dimensions act and interact in a way that contributes to our own quality
of life.

In Intellectual Dimension, the core values are Truth and Tolerance.

Love of truth- Implies the tireless and enthusiastic search for the knowledge in all its form.
Critical thinking- to ensure that the information is accurate and free bias.
Creativity- enables people to utilize initial knowledge to generate more knowledge and innovations.
Openness and Respect for others- the acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of cultures and
diverse to forms of human expression.
Future Orientation-"the degree to which a collectivity encourages and rewards future-oriented
behaviors such as planning and delaying gratification.
Scientific Orientation- Systematic and logically bring them toward preferred situations.
