Scene 1: (1965)

Narito si *insert another reporter*, nag-
uulat mula sa Independence Grandstand, Manila. (Note: You can still rephrase this, especially the
Administrasyong Macapagal part. But if you think its fine, edi okeh.)

(Nasa kabilang side)

Reporter 2: Maraming salamat, reporter 1.

(On the other side, pumapasok sina Imelda, basta yung family ni Marcos.

Marcos yung kamay nya)

Judge: Raise your right hand, and repeat after me, your oath of office. I (Marcos will repeat),
Ferdinand Edralin Marcos (Marcos will repeat), do solemnly swear (Marcos), that I will faithfully
(Marcos) and conscientiously (Marcos) fulfill my responsibilities (Marcos) as President of the
Philippines (Marcos), execute its just laws (Marcos) do justice to every man (Marcos) and consecrate
myself (Marcos) to the service of the nation (Marcos), so help me, God (Marcos).

*people at the grandstand will clap, celebrating, oyeaaah.*

(NOTE: THIS WHOLE SCENE IS FOR 1 MINUTE ONLY.)

Ang New

(30 seconds or so)

Scene 2: (Sept. 21 1972)

Martial Law)

Marcos: My countrymen, as 21st of this month, I signed Proclamation No. 1081 placing the entire
Philippines under Martial Law. This proclamation was to be implemented upon my clearance. And the
clearance was granted at 9 oclock in the evening of the 22nd last month. I proclaimed Martial Law in
accordance with the powers vested as the President by the constitution of the Philippines. The
proclamation of Martial Law is not a military takeover. I, as your newly elected president, used this
power which maybe implemented by the military authorities. A power embodied in the constitution to
protect the republic of the Philippines by democracy. A republican, a democratic form of government is
not a helpless government when it is empowered by the danger of a violent overthrow, an insurrection
or a rebellion.

You are all witnesses to this. You have witnessed the events of last year. We have fallen and we are
falling back on our last line of defense. You are also witnesses to the patience that we have shown in the
face of provocation. In the face of abuse, we have used or attempted to use persuasion. Now, the limit
has been reached for we are against the world. We must now, defend the Republic of the Philippines
with this stronger power granted by the constitution. To those guilty of treason, insurrection, rebellion,
it may face a great danger. But to the ordinary citizenry, to almost all of you whose primary concern is
nearly to be left alone, to pursue your local activities. This is the guarantee of the freedom that you
seek. Rest assured that we will continue to do so. And I have prayed to God for guidance and let us all
continue to pray to him. I am confident that with Gods help, we will attain our dream, a well reformed
society and you and brighter world. Thank you.

(Mga 1 minute to 1 minute and 30 seconds itey. Di pwedeng palitan yung lines ha. Yan kasi yung saktong
lines ni Tito Marcos. 10 minutes talaga yung buo.
Scene 3: Assassination of Ninoy Aquino (August 21, 1983)

notebook. )

Ninoy (talking to the American beside him): I think the very incident that we can land is victory enough.
Everything after that, whether they put me back in the plane and ship me out or bring me to prison. I
promised to return. I have returned against all odds. Now Im hoping that they will allow the press in
Manila to please talk to me. My feeling is we all have to die some time. If its my fate to die by an
assassins bullet, so be it.
But I cannot be petrified by an action or fear of assassination and therefore stay in a corner. I have to
suffer with my people. I have to lead them because of the responsibility given to me by our people.

banner for him.
sundalo. Ang sabi dun sa nabasa ko, kaya daw may sundalo ay pinadala daw ng mga Marcos for his
security.
Hehehe. Wala kasing masyadong lines dun. Yern leng. Kaya kinuwento ko na lang.)

Scene 4: Snap Election (February 7, 1986)

*American and Marcos talking*

American: Mr. President, welcome. Im going to be fairly direct.
Marcos: Okay.
American: There is a wide perception over here that you had Ninoy Aquino killed.
Marcos: Thats stupid. Why would I kill him? He was not a threat. He would never have won in election
against me.
American: Lets talk about elections for a second, Mr. President. Theres a feeling that your presidency is
no longer legitimate but as the result of the Aquino assassination, your mandate is gone. Would you be
willing to test that mandate by holding an early election?
Marcos: Of course, Sir. I announce that Im willing to hold a Snap Election.

Scene 4.1:
Kailangan mong magdesisyon.

Scene 4.2: Cory won against Marcos

Scene 5: EDSA Revolution (February 22-25, 1986)

*Madaming tao

Scene 6: Corazon Aquinos Oath Taking Cermony as a President (February 25, 1986)

Judge: Raise your right hand, and repeat after me, your oath of office. I (Cory will repeat), Corazon
Cojuangco Aquino (Cory will repeat), do solemnly swear (Cory), that I will faithfully (Cory) and
conscientiously (Cory) fulfill my duties (Cory) as President of the Philippines (Cory), preserve and
defend each fundamental law, execute each just law (Cory) do justice to every man (Cory) and
consecrate myself (Cory) to the service of the nation (Cory), so help me, God (Cory).

*claps, sigawan, Cory! Cory! Cory! Celebration*

Scene 7: Marcos Departure

Pwede bang paki-asikaso yung biyahe namin ng pamilya
ko para ligtas kaming makaalis ng bansa?
Enrile: Yes, of course. But heres what you need to remember. We are no longer afraid to die because
enough is enough, Mr. President. I think you know that your time is up.

Scene 8: End: Freedom Constitution

Inaugural Address

Corazon: My brothers and sisters:

I am grateful for the authority you have given me today. And I promise to offer all that I can do to serve
you.

Ninoy believed that only the united strength of a people can overturn a tyranny so evil and so well
organized. It took the brutal murder of Ninoy to bring about the unity, the strength, and the
phenomenon of People Power. That power has shattered the dictatorship protected the honorable
military that have chosen freedom, and today has established a government dedicated to the protection
and meaningful fulfillment of the peoples rights and liberties.

We were exiles in our land we, Filipinos, who are at home only in freedom when Marcos destroyed
the Republic fourteen years ago. Through courage and unity, through the power of the people, we are
home again.

(people claps!!)

And now, I would like to appeal to everyone to work for national reconciliation, which is what Ninoy
came back home for. I would like to repeat that I am very magnanimous in victory. So I call on all those
countrymen of ours who are not yet with us to join us at the earliest possible time so that together we
can rebuild our beautiful country.

FINISH. Wiieeeeee!

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS sa atin!!!
