With reference to the complaint you made on 8 November 2015 about the conduct of
an officer from this Force, I have formally recorded details under the provision of the
Police Reform Act 2002 as amended by the Police Reform & Social Responsibility
Act 2011. I enclose for your information a copy of the record made.

All available evidence will be secured and preserved and an Investigating Officer
will be appointed to investigate this matter, but as it appears to be closely
associated with proceedings that may be taken against you, it is the practice in such
circumstances to suspend investigation of the complaint until after the disposal of
those proceedings or a decision is made to take no further action.

Arrangements will, therefore, be made for the matter to be pursued at the

conclusion of that aspect and it will then be necessary for the Investigating Officer to
discuss the case with you. However, should you choose to seek legal advice you
may wish to show this letter to your solicitor.

Should you change your address before the completion of the enquiry, I would ask
you to notify this office at the above address as soon as possible, to enable us to
keep you updated with the progress of the enquirf.
