with minor in Child Life Specialist in May of 2018. I also became a
member of the Child Life Specialist association here on campus this past
fall and taking required classes to become a Certified Child Life
Specialist.

EXPERIENCE LIBERTY ATHLETIC CLUB

Jobs: Child Care Provider, Event Coordinator, Weekend Supervisor.

Skills: Handling Children with patience and understanding. Helping set up


events that we provide for the families of the gym. Providing other team
members with direction and guidance, to help them interact with children
that range from two months to eight years old.

CEUS EARNED Total of 18.75

VOLUNTEERING Volunteered at Sparrow Hospital for over 100 hours over the Summer of
2016. I helped with providing the parents with breaks, playing with the
children, and providing loving attention to the NICU babies. I also
completed a practicum with the Mott Pediatric Trauma Injury Prevention
Program for a total of 120 hours over the Spring Semester of 2017.
Helping with car seat checks and presenting safety information to families
throughout the community. Working this Summer for Heartland Hospice
for over 120 hours has been a great experience. It allowed me to help
families heal from the loss of a family member. I completed a 3-month
Internship in the Fall of 2017. It was through Mott Childrens Hospital. It
was broken into two parts, the first was working with the Community
Relations portion of the hospital. I helped start the Hope Ambassador
Program which helped patients navigate the Hospital. The second was
Patient Technology Integration so using Virtual Reality and gaming to
connect with patients as well as distract them from the hospital
environment and promote healing.
