El principal inconveniente del enfoque de espacio paridad es que los residuos se calculan
utilizando derivadas temporales de las variables medidas, lo que hace este mtodo muy
sensible al ruido y perturbaciones del sistema de medicin. Por lo tanto, para que sea til en
un entorno ruidoso, se requiere filtrado adicional y pre-procesamiento.
En nuestra planta piloto, si bien las ecuaciones que modelan el sistema son conocidos,
podemos aplicar tambin mtodos basados en inteligencia computacional como los que se
mencionan en el siguiente prrafo, con el objeto de comparar resultados y apreciar las
caractersticas esenciales de cada uno de ellos.
