Questions: What is the basic information about cause and the solution about
hunger & poverty in Somalia?
Summary: Our group have separate to find the information in each sources
and collect the data from internet. For me, I need to find the solution to our
MDG in Somalia. Most of all problems that occurred in Somalia come from
their weather. The weather in Somalia are hot and dry, which it leads to the
development of agriculture. Later on, it leads to the depression in economics.
Analysis and opinion: El Nio and La Nia leads to the depression in
agriculture, because of these natural disasters it makes the weather in Somalia
become very dry.

Questions: How agriculture leads to the depression in economics?
Summary: Bad agriculture leads to the depression in economics because of
the product that come from the agriculture become less, so the product that they
going to sell in economics become less too. Moreover, their people cant find
the solution because their people doesnt have chance to study in the school.
Analysis and opinion: This state of economics called depression, which I
have learnt before in business class. Moreover, this is the state that leads the
economics become really worst and they cant find the way to solve it.

Questions: What is the solution and suggestion for Somalia?
Summary: There are main problems in Somalia, which are hunger, poverty,
and economics. The solution for hunger will be solve by their government.
Their government will send the emergency food to the hunger in each day
(water is also, and that solve the problem about lacking of safe water). The
solution for the economics is to plant the commercial crops (banana and
sugarcane) to other nations for making the income in their country, which this
make their economics become better.
Analysis and opinion: My opinion is to solve all the problems by SEP. SEP or
Sufficiency economy philosophy came from philosophy that is developed by
His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. SEP is when you in the
middle path, which your act is balance, not to right or left. Which its mean that
people must have a balance mind, for example: not greedy and delight what you
have in this moment.

Questions: What is the solution for Somalia? (Deeper than before)
Summary: Somalia has to face many situations, because of the unsure
weather. Which these are the solution to the problem that occurred in Somalia:
to invest in food production on the ground in Africa. This allows the
people to address hunger in Somalia and creates lasting food
infrastructure.

Guarantee formal and informal education for young people, channeling

their power and energy into learning and development. (famine, more
knowledge = more change of this problem)

Planting commercial crops like bananas and sugarcane for their

economics.

Planting crops that can resist to drought condition in their country, like
corn, sorghum, beans, rice, vegetables, cotton, and sesame, as their food
instead, in order to survive in a food crisis during the drought period.

Improved the overall quality of life for people in Somalia by successfully

implementing infrastructures such as roads and schools. (The reason why
they created the school is to Increasing their people's knowledge and
decrease problems with poverty because lack of knowledge can lead to
many things, failure in doing agriculture and producing food,
unemployment, uncured sickness, famine and further leads to death.)

The state of malnutrition that occur in under five years old children and
pregnant woman will be cure by lifesaving treatment and health
screening.
Delivering supplies of safe water to the group of people in each day to
reduce the lack of water problems.
Offering emergency food assistance for reducing hunger people.
 Give their treatment services for preventing diseases that occur in
Somalia.

Eradicate the conflict about youth unemployment

Analysis and opinion: In my opinion, their government should invest more

agriculture and drought, which both of these are the causes to many problems in
Somalia whether it is a diseases or economic problem.

Questions: Collect all the data about the solution in Somalia.
Summary: I have collect all the data about the solution for our country MDG,
which I send the information to the editor and lets them edit and design our
product.
Analysis and opinion: This project is divided into many role and different
researcher, which when each researcher has done they job already, which are
background information, causes, problem, solution, suggestion, and more. Then,
we will collect all the sources and put it in our product.
