A PMS Checklist form P/N 4115067, available from the Drger Medical, Inc. Technical Service
Department, shall be completed by the Technical Service Representative each time a PMS is
performed.

Electrical safety test: If required by Customer record measured values additional to the PMS
Checklist in the following form "Electrical Safety Test Form Babylog 8000".

* Note for test item 3.2.2:

Older Babylog 8000 up to S/N ARDM (November 1991) can only be tested if the unit is updated to
pneumatic version 2 or higher with "Modification kit pressure control valve" P/N 84 11 082 (pressure
relief valve D4.1), refer to Repair Instructions section "Modifications of the PEEP/PIP valve".

Caution: Service, Inspection and Calibration are to be performed by Drger trained and authorized
Service Personnel only!

Note: Test Equipment for this procedure is listed in the document "Test equipment for CCS devices".
DO NOT USE any test equipment having an expired calibration date.

Warning: During Service and Inspection some systems may be disconnected. Ensure these systems
are reconnected, test equipment is removed and all covers are replaced after testing!

Note: If only expiratory valves are to be tested perform test item 1.4, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 5.6.1, 5.6.2, 6.1

necessary to disconnect the hoses between the valve bank to the supply pressure sensors at
the valve bank. To do so open the pneumatics for this test, refer to "Opening the Babylog
