Activity Rather than have the students create alphabet notebooks (as
they often do when they are in this grade level), I thought it
would be more fun to incorporate technology into this lesson.

In this activity, students will be assigned a letter of the

alphabet. They will then have to think of ten words that begin
with that specific letter, as well as use one of those ten words
to create a sentence.

I will then go over the Office Sway website with the students.

Now that the students understand the website, they will then
have to create a Sway presentation showing the words which
they have chosen as well as the sentence they have created.
They will be required to put pictures in the slides that go along
with their words/sentences.

When they are finished, the students will present their

slideshows to the class.
Pedagogy

The point of this project is not only to have students learn their
alphabet, but also to introduce young children to technology.
