Throughout this internship I hope to gain real world experience by
teaching in a classroom setting in order to confirm that teaching is the
right career fit for me. I am eager to gain feedback on my developing
teaching ability and to create a positive relationship with my students
and mentor.

Student Teacher at Celebration Preschool Hinsdale Middle School

2017-Present 2011 - 2014

This summer, I worked at Celebration preschool as a student teacher and had the -Student of the Month (2013)
opportunity to work with preschoolers ages two to five. My role included -Cheerleader and track team
facilitating crafts, science experiments, music class, gym class, recess, runner (2012-2014)
lunch/snack time, and story times. I co-led each age group with a full time
preschool teacher and was able to create a meaningful relationship with her as Hinsdale Central High School

well as my other coworkers. I will be returning to this job in the spring/summer 2014 - Present
when the summer school/day camp sessions resume.

2016 - Present AWARDS


Upon the completion of mandatory leadership trainings, I was officially selected

to be a student leader for Hinsdale Wyldlife, a local ministry which believes in

high schoolers. I was chosen to take eight seventh grade girls from Hinsdale and -Honor Roll and Deans List 2011-

My sophomore year I took a class called Childcare and Development and had the
