Subject : Recommendation Letter for Mr. Rakesh Mane
Dear Sir or Madam,
It gives me great pleasure to write this recommendation letter for Mr. Rakesh Mane. Rakesh completed his studies at College of Engineering, University of Delhi in 2012 where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. Rakesh is one of the few students I remember from my early days in College of Engineering as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department. He is one of my promising student. I am pleased to note that he is interested in pursuing his MS in Mechanical Engineering at your distinguished University and I am very much convinced about his ability to undertake and complete this challenging program. I clearly remember the last time I had conversation with Rakesh in our college 'Alumni Meet - 2017' at College of Engineering, Delhi. At that time I came to know that he is working in Oil & Gas field as 'Design Engineer' in an Engineering Consultant Firm and he shares with me all his experiences of working Industry. Well, It's not a surprise for me to see him excel in the practical world too, I have known Rakesh for year of his undergraduate education and as a teacher I have taught him two subjects, Theory of Machine and Machine Design. Based on my interactions, I have come to appreciate him as very sincere, committed, intelligent student, focused on achieving his objectives. Completely focused in classes, he used to ask pertinent questions to get his doubts solved and his participation in all of the class activities were quite positive. His assignments and projects showed his organised and systematic approach towards work and excellent technical skills. I was very happy with efforts he took in my subjects. I found that Rakesh is a self-driven person and full of initiative. Along with academics, Rakesh has also participated in various co-curricular activities and has benefited from the same. I know his involvement in Mechanical Engineering Students Association for period of two years. He worked as organiser for various events during annual college festival. He made it a point to balance his academics and other activities equally well. Personality wise, Rakesh is very easy to work with. During organising college events, he works closely with another students and they got along very well. Rakesh is always open to suggestions and he takes criticism well. He is always respectful to me and has a very good sense of humour which is important when activities do not work out as planned when managing or organising college event. He persists with his efforts and move on until he succeeds. In summary, Mr. Rakesh Mane has my strongest support and recommendation, with full confidence in his intellectual abilities and personal attributes. I wish him all the success in his future endeavours. Sincerely,
Prof. Swapni Ranveer
