My name is Carolyn Priebe, and I was in the religion class you taught on Earth and Ethics. I
really enjoyed the class as well as your teaching style. I will cherish all the knowledge I obtained
from your class.

I know you are a busy person so I will get to the point. I am apply for an internship that focuses
on urban ministry. Because I enjoyed your class so much and it relates to my internship, I
decided to ask you for a letter of recommendation first. Would you be able to write me a strong
letter of recommendation for my internship application?

I would be happy to meet with you one-on-one if that would help. I have ample involvement in
the ministries to consider me well-experienced for this position. I have worked for the past three
years at a Christian summer camp with young children, teaching them the Word of God. I have
also been a part of four mission trips all over the US during the past four summers. In addition to
these experiences, I have really immersed myself in the ministry here at Hope College. I am a
part of a small group and Delight. I will be attending an immersion trip on spring break of next
year. I am excited at the prospect of this new opportunity to spread Gods Word.
