RESUMEN
Los objetivos de esta revisin bibliogrfica son analizar los factores de riesgo de la lesin desde la
perspectiva de la biomecnica y proponer nuevas lneas de investigacin. METODOLOGA. Las bases de datos
utilizadas fueron Medline, Scopus y SportsDiscuss. Se ha desarrollado un modelo mecnico que permite explicar
de forma sencilla las causas de la lesin. RESULTADOS Y DISCUSIN. Los factores de riesgo principales son
haber tenido la lesin, la falta de flexibilidad, la falta de fuerza excntrica, los desequilibrios
isquiotibiales:cudriceps y los problemas de sincronizacin entre abdominales, glteo mayor e isquiotibiales. Sin
embargo, los resultados encontrados en la literatura no son del todo concluyentes, lo que dificulta que puedan ser
utilizados fcilmente por los entrenadores, preparadores fsicos y servicios mdicos a la hora de prevenir la
lesin o ayudar en el proceso de recuperacin. CONCLUSIONES. Es necesario poner a punto nuevas tcnicas de
medicin de la fuerza y de los desequilibrios musculares, de la actividad elctrica muscular, de la respuesta
