product production) agricultural scrap, or even industrial and urban scrap.

EQUALIZER, rigid construction, assures uniform load by each Pitman Arm. CONVENTIONAL PUMPING UNITS
GEAR REDUCERS. Double Reduction according to API Spec. 11E, with herringbone symmetrically positioned General Dimensions
gears.
PITMAN ARMS, built out of heavy Isection beams, which assure high torsion and longitudinal strength, are
connected to the equalizer and crank pin bearing assembly by heavy welded flanges.

COUNTERBALANCE obtained with sliding master counterweights which can be easily shifted along crank by one
man by means of a pinion and crank rack. For increased effective counterbalance, auxiliary weights may be mounted
on the inside of master counterweights.
STRUCTURAL BEARINGS. The Equalizer Bearing, Crank Pin Bearing and Center Bearing assemblies are provided
with self-aligning roller bearings which diminish the risk of mounting errors.

Vulcan S.A. Bucharest makes double and triple reduction gear reducers which are provided exclusively for our
General Data products (such as pumping units and crushing mills) up to a peak torque rating of 147,500 Nm and even bigger
for equipment intended for steampower plants.
