I have been a media professional for about nine years. I am working with the news website at India
Today Group Digital as an Assistant Editor. I have worked with NDTV Convergence as a chief sub
editor and with Hindustan Times (print) as a sub-editor, where I also handled the sports desk for about 2
months (that included reporting on local match events, editing reports, news releases and other stories,
translating match reports from Hindi to English occasionally and making pages).

I started my career as a reporter with the DNA newspaper in Jaipur in May 2008 and have around 25 by-
lines to my credit from both DNA and Hindustan Times. Writing features, on cricket among sports, and
creative pieces are some of my areas of interest in print journalism. I have also supervised work of
colleagues in my team and guided them on how to write/edit better. I have translated content from
Hindi to English and vice-versa (news, sports stories and trivia content.)

Im keen on any openings in writing or editing/any form of engagement with language, even willing to
foray into fields beyond mainstream journalism such as Corporate Communications, PR firms and
advertising, etc. I am fond of storytelling and anchoring and love engaging with new ideas. [Enjoy
playing word puzzles such as Crossword or scrabble]. Looking out for profiles such as content
leads/content heads/content managers, etc. Open to even work-from-home, freelancing job offers.
