PATIETN CASE

This patient named Mr. Ali

He suffer Tuberculosis with AFB 2+
Level of independence of Mr. Ali is Independent he can meet basic needs by
himself
Previously he didnt know he was suffering from tuberculosis.
He came to the hospital with progressive cough, hemoptysis, dyspnea, anorexia.

The client has given nebulized with Combivent 1 time per day, chest physical
therapy every morning with cough effectively, given TSA therapy three times a
day and the client starts on a 4-drug regimen: isoniazid, rifampin, pyrazinamide,
and ethambutol

He suffers from active tuberculosis, use of personal protective equipment

properly when give therapy, tell he how cough ethics procedures and continue
intervention

Discharge Planning
Dont hard stop the treatment after six month or by recommended doctor
If your urine color is redness dont panic its fair
Use a mask and cutlery must be separated for reduce transmission infection
Eat nutritious foods
Dont throw sputum everywhere
You can come DOTS Clinic every Friday for monitoring your TBC.
