The use of Technology for Better Learning

Why Students and Teachers Fail, I believe is because of lock of opportunities to use

analytical devices, such as Technology. The use of Technology is a significant factor that will

aid in students success within the collegiate aspect of their lives.

Technology today is very helpful in terms of education. There are so many ways a child

can learn and get work done using technology. For example, Google Drive, students can

download the App weather on Smart Phone, Tablets, Chromebooks, Desktops, or Laptops, which

allows you to store and share files. Furthermore, it also provides a place for students to store

their files online, which give access to Multimedia such as audio images and videos, Digital

Media such as computer programs, so that they can have easy access from anywhere. It also

helps students to work in groups especially when given group assignments.

Additionally, Google Classroom is also another easy and fast way teachers and

students can use to manage class announcements and distribute assignments. It helps to

communicate with each other and exchange ideas and comments on educational content and it

also provides a safe environment. Google Classroom allows you to access different sites for

example, Online Tutoring, Workshops, and Prep Quizzes for exams. Furthermore, if teachers

wish to go paperless, Google Classroom provides a unique way to allow teachers to have instant

access to student work and manage every classwork digitally. With Google Classroom teachers

can manage multiple classes by receiving students assignments, edit and return students work

for revision and grading students assignments. Doing this would help students to grasp more

quickly and to be on pace with their school work.

According to Paulo Freire The Banking Concept of Education, he talked about

Changing the Consciousness of the Oppressed not the situation which oppresses them,

(Ferire1) this is talking about students changing the way they think about education, not to settle

with what comes but to push harder and strive for greatness. He also talked about Incompetent

and lazy, (Ferire1) this talks about students locking quantities (as skill, knowledge, or ability)

required to do assignments. Not equipped enough to get the work done. Students who are not

focused and show effortless in everything they do. Which all goes back to why students are

failing. David Glenn said that Classes make little difference in their ability to synthesize

knowledge and put complex ideas on paper, (Glenn1) meaning students do not have to be in a

class room to be knowledgeable, a student should be able to think critically in any environment,

weather at home or your job. He also said, "The organizational systems and structures that we

have really aren't set up for 21st-century challenges.", (Glenn1) meaning education black then

was different from what it is today. Todays education is so much advanced, students should be

able to do excellent in schools, by not dropping out and skipping classes. In todays world no one

gets anywhere without education. Without education we would all be ignorant, if students would

just devote more of their time into schools and less hanging out with friends, there would be no

poverty. Furthermore students have so much opportunity to become successful in life for

example: Financial Aid, Tap and Scholarships programs and yet still students are failing.

Education is very important in our society, the more knowledge we have the more we can better

ourselves for the further.
