Groupe Mdia TFO sees learning as an opportunity to innovate and create, both inside and outside the class-
room. Propelled by new technologies and a digital and entrepreneurial culture that are part of its DNA, Groupe

In order to adapt to a bigger, broader, more diverse audience, this 5th edition will offer a quality, dynamic and
interactive EdTech fair, including:

- Three major conferences


- Practical workshops, bar camps and boot camps hosted by teachers, experts and youth
- Facebook Lives and Twitter live feeds, with the possibility to ask on-site participants or social

PITCH COMPETITION
YOUTH INNOVATION PROJECTS COMPETITION
This year, Groupe Mdia TFO is launching the very first Tablettistes grant to encourage young learners to participate in the transformations of their learning environment.
An EdTech Innovation Pitch Competition would be offered to students from Les Tablettistes three partner school boards to develop, in the context of their studies aligned
with the curriculum of Ontario, innovative concepts integrating new technologies (tools, programs, retrofitting...) that could have a direct application in their learning
experience.

Three finalist projects will be selected for presentation in the form of several-minutes-long pitches during the Tablettistes event by the students themselves in front of an
audience of professionals and potential investors. The winning project will be supported by Les Tablettistes/Groupe Mdia TFO and by external partners to make the project
a reality through the Tablettistes grant.

The winning team of the Pitch Competition could be granted the opportunity to present its project during international EdTech conferences (e.g. Rencontres de lOrme).
