Environment, Health & Safety

(EHS) Officer
Main Areas of Responsibilities:
Introduce & initiate country EHS objectives
with site EHS objectives.
Initiate & organize site management
reviews of EHS standards. This includes
reviewing current standards to adapt &
implement new EHS regulations.
Work with the country EHS to deliver
competitive, reliable & high quality EHS
services per site needs.
Coordinate with country EHS & regularly
conduct dialogues with site management to
evaluate service levels, fine-tune service
scopes, prioritize & allocate resources, &
improve EHS service effectiveness &
efficiency.
Manage EHS plans & programs by
scheduling internal & external EHS audits,
supporting audit preparations, consolidating
status of action items, coordinating reports
for site data, preparation of external reports
to local EHS authorities, & site internal
reports submitted on a monthly, quarterly &
annual basis.
Identify, define & deliver site EHS general
training; & facilitate experience exchange,
lessons learned & know-how transfer
among sites
Represent the Company in local industry
organization, & interface with local industry
groups for issue management & advocacy.
Liaise with certification bodies (e.g., ISO,
OHSHA, etc.) to consolidate certificates into
one integrated certificates for site.
Maintain an integrated EHS management
system & documentation, & all applicable
EHS laws & regulations.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of engineering, production,
chemistry or any related science courses.
With at least 3 years of related work
experience in production, engineering or
EHS.
Possesses basic knowledge of management
systems, and EHS scope and functions .
Familiar with local legislation system and
legal requirements in the area of EHS.
Proficient in MS Office/Windows.
Demonstrates professionalism & integrity at
work.
Demonstrates high level of energy & maintain
stable performance under pressure.
Proactive, can work independently & in
teams.
Willing to work in Carmona, Cavite and Bay,
Laguna.
