objects

one gets hit by any objects

supportive of each other and not being a bad sport for behavior management

3. The purpose of our Olympics is all at empathy.

First of all, the Olympics were created in Olympia, Greece
They can be traced back to 776 BC
The purpose of the original Olympics was to honor the gods
The first modern Olympics were in Athens Greece and were in the 1896 and
athletes in 14 countries participated
Again, our Olympics are all about learning how to be empathetic
The definition of empathy from Merriam-Webster ---the action of understanding,
being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings,
thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having
the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively
explicit manner; also: the capacity for this
While competing in these games everyone will be handed a profile that will be a
different disability
Your job is to take on the role of the disability in order to gain empathy for the
people who have these disabilities
This is something to be taken very seriously and points will be taken off for poor
sportsmen if you do not take this seriously
About 19% of people in the United States have a disability which is almost a fifth
of our population and that is why it is so important to learn how to be empathetic
to these people
Disabilities can range a physical, mental, cognitive, or developmental condition
that impairs, interferes with, or limits a person's ability to engage in certain tasks
or actions or participate in typical daily activities and interactions-- Merriam-
Webster -- with this wide range it is important to not ignore an disabilities ---no
matter how small or large because these are challenges people face in their
everyday life and we need to understand that in order to be compassionate
towards these people and towards everyone
