120 * (50 / 100) = 60 Sec.
The test voltage developed between line terminals of the high-voltage
winding of uniformly-insulated windings in accordance with IEC is given
with 22 KV, provided that the voltage between the different parts of the
winding does not exceed twice the voltage, which appears when rated
voltage is applied to the line terminals.

Applied test voltage:

(LV) 0.44 KV winding: 0.88 KV.

(HV) 11 KV winding: 22 KV.

(H.V) 0.6 KV winding: 1.2 KV.

TRANSFORMER VOLTAGE RATIO MEASUREMENT

MEASUREMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ( IEC STANDARD).

In this test we measure the transformer ratio for single, three phase
transformers by Appling voltage on primary winding and measured it on
secondary winding (or you can reverse it)
Measured it by DIGITAL TRANSFORMER RATIO METER instrument.

Digital transformer Ratio meter instrument.

Description

This instrument has four (two black & two red) clamps.
Screen to show the ratio and another information
Knob to adjustment the construct
We put (1 red xx) on the low tension phase that , want to measure it and
other (2 black xx) in the neutral if it is founded
And we put (red HH) cable in the phase , and so
Note this connection to reading positive
We take reading for each phase and for one phase take for each tap
We coordinate the value that , reading it by the standard value

MEASUREMENT OF WINDING RESISTANCE TRANSFORMER

MEASUREMENT PRESSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH IEC.

resistance measurement test in this test we measured the resistance of

three phase winding by applying DC voltage and measured DC resistance
by (Micro ohmmeter instrument)

Micro ohmmeter instrument

Description

This instrument have a two clamp , and screen to indicate the current rang
,the knob to adjust the range of resistance are measure it (20-200-2000-
micro ohm- 20-200-2000-m ohm)
we must adjust the current indicator to 100 %,
View the construct of screen
It must be the tape changer on no. 1 (i.e. over all winding are under
measure process )
The resistance is line to line.
The average oil temperature was 20 C that can be assumed the average
winding temperature, since the transformer was not loaded the last 24
hours.
Time for the measuring current to become steady 60 S.

MEASUREMENT OF NO-LOAD LOSSES AND EXCITING CURRENT OF

TRANSFORMER

In this test, we determine the transformer parameters, loss, efficiency,

regulation, impedance voltage.
1-no load test

In this test we measured I(NO.L) , Pi for each phase

Connection

Connect the source to low tension winding on three winding and measure
the voltage, current, power by tow watt meter method
Let the H.T terminals is open.
You can reverse the connection (but it preferred the connection (1) because
the sours is more available in low tension)
After you had connected you will increase the applied voltage to rated
value in tank and(.25% active part )
After testing current you can connect the instruments and reading
(W1,W2,V1,V2,I1,I2) if you measured by tow wattmeter method ,(if another
method u can take W1,W2,W3, and so on )

In EGYTRAFO factory, we are doing this test by
