I am contacting you in response to your online request for students teachers for . I am currently
attending Colorado State University to get my teaching license with an art concentration of
printmaking and an Associates of Arts Degree from Front Range Community College. In order to
fulfill my requirements to receive my license I need to complete a semester of student teaching. I
had a current part time art teaching job in Loveland, Colorado, a part time job teaching art
classes during the school year and during the summer a Full time job working as a camp
Counselor for the City of Fort Collins Recreation Department.

My qualifications are the following:

Nanning and babysitting beginning at age 15

Working as a nanny for seeking sitters
Teaching art classes to children and adults
Summer camp counselor for kids ages 6-14
Volunteered for the Childrens Literacy Center where I helped kids who struggled with
reading improve proficiency in reading
Associates of Arts degree from Front Range Community College
City of Fort Collins cooking, science and art classes part time with kids ages 3-8 and a
camp counselor full time over the summer with kids ages 6-13

My experience, work ethic and passion for teaching youth would make me an ideal candidate for
a student teaching position. I am sure that I will take on any challenge, work hard, follow
directions and be a positive role model for all students. I look forward from hearing from you.
