Managing transition during my lessons.
- Give instructions about the strategies.

I will use the sand clock to give student time
to move between the activities and use the
smart board to put song for transition.
Writing notes for the strategies the teacher
uses and the ones I used then compare
between them to find which ones worked
better.

Moving between the lesson parts needs organization and good
transition strategies to be able to deliver the information to the
students in a certain time. Also the rotation between the activities
needs transition management to have time management.
- Observe my MST and write notes about how she implements the
transition strategies.
- Find different strategies and implement them l eisurely besides using
the teachers strategies.
- Give students instructions about the new strategies
- Check if the strategies worked or not by observing the students
performance.
- During carpet time.
- While moving students from the carpet to the activities areas.

I was able to measure the affection of this strategy by comparing
between my previous notes to the new ones to check the progress of
students performance. Also I measured it by time, in the classroom I
was able to finish my lessons in the time I planned for because students
managed to have good transition by the time and practicing. By
noticing the students behaviors in the classroom and during the
transition I was able to know if I achieved my goal and I was able to
apply the transition strategies in the classroom.

strategies during the lesson.
- Ask students questions during the lesson
time.
- Move between students during the
activities and assess them.

I will need my MST support to know which
strategy I need to use in different parts of
the lesson.
Smartboard, Whiteboard, Flashcards and
Notebook.
Assessing students is a way for teacher to k now if the students
understood the lesson and had built a new knowledge to their previous
knowledge. There are different assessment strategies I want to
implement such as asking more questions, discussion, peer/self -
assessment, individual whiteboard and more observation.
- Observe my MST and take notes of the assessment strategies she uses
during the lessons and activities.
- Apply different assessment strategies such as asking questions,
self/peer assessment, discussion and observation.
- Write notes to see if the strategies worked or not and find the reasons
why they did not work.

activities, after asking question.

students work and what they say about
their own experiences.

Observation and notes
After finishing the concept of the lesson in the carpet I took small
group of students each time to assess and evaluate them. By assessing
them in the small groups I noticed that the students are able to achieve
and show more because the teacher is able to focus on all of the
students in the group. Moreover, the low level students were ab le to
develop some skills and their knowledge.
Giving students positive feedback to their work, answers or anything
good they do in the class encourage them to do even more great work
and it help them to develop their confidence. Students feel that their
hard work is valued when they are being reinforced positively which
also effect on their performance and skills in school.
- Ask students different questions and use the verbal positive feedback
(reinforcement).
- Use the positive reinforcement during the activities time.
- Observe students performance in the classroom and see whether it
improved or not.
I will use the positive reinforcement during the lesson and activities
and also outside the classroom during the break time.
- Get feedback from my MST and MCT.
- Get advices from my MST and MCT.
- Get to know my weaknesses and find ways to improve them.
I will observe the students and write notes about their performance
in the classroom, I will note down their reactions and actions after the
verbal feedback if they were happy and proud they will work even
harder and they will also try to help their classmates who need help.
By noticing the students performance in the classroom and their
relationship with me I will be able to know if I was able to achieve my
goal.

Evidence (after During the lessons I gave students positive
implementation) feedback when they behave well or respond
well to my questions and instructions.
I used the positive verbal feedback during the lessons time or outside
the classrooms and by time I noticed that the students started to feel
more comfortable around me and are able to express themselves to
me without being shy. Moreover, in the classroom students became
more active and they paid attention to me while I was teaching.
