Primera reivindicacin: Un motor de cmara central de combustin
que tiene pistones axialmente opuestos, que comprende un
ensamble formado por: un eje principal o flecha principal; medios de
soporte circulares, acoplados en los extremos longitudinales de
dicha flecha o eje principal, mismos que contienen guas o cejas
radiales de alto o bajo reUeve, interna o externamente; cmaras
centrales de combustin o cmaras seUadas de expansin que
contienen dos pistones opuestos y que usan cualquier medio de
lubricacin y seUado; medios deslizantes correspondientes para
acoplar tales pistones opuestos a dichas guas o cejas radiales de los
medios circulares para que tales pistones sigan el movimiento
proporcionado por dichas guas; conjuntos de levas ubicados en el
eje o bien flecha principal; y medios de ignicin correspondientes
para el encendido y la combustin de gases dentro de las cmaras de combustin.

Primera Reinvindicacin: In the conventional internal combustion
engine heretofore in use, reciprocating motion of a piston is
converted to rotating motion by means of a crank mechanism so as
to utilize said motion as a driving power, so that heat eliiciency of said
engine is relatively low. On the other hand, generally, efficiency of
rotating machine is higher than that of reciprocating machine as will
be understood from the fact that efficiency of steam turbine is higher
than that of steam engine. However, turbine necessitates large
dimension and weight thereof is relatively large in comparison with
the output power thereof. Accordingly, turbine engine is unsuitable
for use in the automobiles and aeroplanes.

engine, the compression volume and expansion volume
necessarily are equal, being limited by the piston stroke
and cylinder capacity, thereby resulting in a relatively high terminal pressure for the expanding gases and
an accompanying loss in efficiency. To remedy this obje'ction, the present invention contemplates a motor
wherein the volume of the spent gases is substantially greater than the precompression volume whereby a
maximum of energy is extracted from each charge of fuel. Moreover, by providing a relatively low terminal
pressure, the ingress of air is facilitated ensuring a proper air-fuel ratio.
