Learn From Indonesias Cultures
Indonesia is the country with the greatest culture in the world. Indonesia is
also one of the most populous country in the world with 250 million people,
making Indonesian Country has a diverse culture with a variety of unique and
tremendous potential to become a developed country in the future. The uniqueness
and distinctiveness of humans in the context of a state, nation, and society will lead
to social order and cultural diversity. So, no one that with the large number of
people in Indonesia, will give rise to a variety of cultures in Indonesia. In
Indonesia, unfolds the diversity of different cultures, ranging from the local
language, race, ethnicity, religion, beliefs until the skin color. The diversity that
formed me as a person younger generation who are proud to be Indonesian nation,
proud because of the many diverse cultures, Indonesian Country is able to coexist
and Indonesian communities are able to live in harmony regardless of race,
language, and religion. All that is inseparable from the Indonesia's motto is "Unity
in Diversity" which means that although different cultures but remains essentially
the Indonesian nation is one unity.

At the time of modernization and globalization, technology and information

flow cant be avoided, like it or not, technology and information we must received.
Modern technologies of today, a nightmare for traditional cultures in Indonesia.
But, Indonesian culture isnt easily go away, the cultures in Indonesia has become
a habit of the people of Indonesia and is inherent in the people of Indonesia.
Indonesian culture is a ancestral heritage, that we must bequeath hereditary each
generation. Just as we honor both our parents. Culture must our respect and honor
too. Traditional cultures in Indonesia, which maintained its purity from the
immemorial time to the present is like "Ngaben" is burning or cremation
ceremonies of Hindus in Bali. "Pasola" is war carried out by two groups of riding,
using a blunt wooden spears, to invoke the blessing of the gods in order to harvest
that year did well. "Karapan sapi" is a bull race competition, "Reog" is a dance that
are closely connected with things mysticism, and many Indonesian cultures which
still maintained its authenticity.

Culture can also be defined as a habit. In Indonesia, people's daily habits are
like: "Gotong Royong" which means working together to clean up the environment
around, which is done once a week. There is also the "Ronda" which means
working together in maintaining security around, every day in midnight. We all
cant rely completely on the janitor or security, because of the cleanliness and
security is our shared responsibility. Other Indonesian habit is in sports. Every
football, badminton, volleyball and others match, the people of Indonesia will roll
in to gives support to the Indonesian team. Is up, Want it a championship or just a
friendly match. Younger generations are also actively promoting Indonesian
cultures to international. This proves that the culture can create unity and integrity.

Until now eleven Indonesian cultural sites that have been recognized by the
UNESCO as a world cultural heritage, among which are Batik, Wayang, Keris,
Angklung, Saman dance and Sangiran ancient human sites. Culture is reflected in
various aspects of community life in all regions in Indonesia. Each region have the
characteristics of different cultures. Ranging from traditional house, dance, music,
art drawing, traditional clothes, traditional weapons until the food. Although
UNESCO has determined that several cultural heritage of Indonesia is the world,
there are many elements that are not responsible for claim Indonesian culture, as
their culture. But, Indonesia does not silent, the cultures were stolen, 250 million
people will take it back.

So, can I conclude that much can be learned from a multicultural Indonesian
culture. although different cultures but remains essentially the Indonesian nation is
one unity. Indonesian people really appreciate and respect the cultures of each
region and are able to live in harmony and togetherness. habits of the people of
Indonesia are doing also positive. Cultural identity is a nation that can create unity
and national unity. From the unity, integrity and positive things from that culture
doesnt wrong that the Indonesian nation will eventually evolve into a developed
country and have a better future.
