1. What happened to the height of the stem from Day 1 to
Day 7?
The height of the stem increases each day.
2. What happened to the number of leaves from Day 1 to
Day 7?
On Day 1, the number of leaves was zero but from Day 2 to Day 7
the maximum number of leaves was 2.

Conclusion: What happened as the seed germinates into a

new plant?
The seed grew taller and had more leaves than it has in Day 1.
