someone I think might be interested in it. If you would prefer not receive future such

email me at the address already given. Payment may be made via Paypal, or on
request I can invoice you 30-days, invoice sent with the books ordered. Due to the
high cost of postage these days, I cannot absorb postage; post for items will be
charged according to weight. I have plenty more to list, but wanted to get this
catalogue out by end of October 2017, hence I will issue a followup catalogue early
next year. It will feature more horror and sf, and other material from Ephemera to

 GuIDE to Grades
Mint: An immaculate copy with no discernible faults. The boards and jacket are
pristine, as is the interior of the book. The binding is tight and the book is as fresh as
the day it came off the press. A grade I rarely use, as books in this condition are
extremely scarce.

Fine: A book that is close to the condition in which the publisher issued it. If a
hardcover, the jacket has no marks, tears, significant rubbing, clipped price or other
blemishes. The boards or cloth of the book are unmarked, the pages are clean and
bright, and the binding is tight.

Very good +: Close to fine, but with some minor blemish that prevents the book
from being described as fine.

Very good: A copy that is attractive and well-preserved overall but not quite in VG+
condition

Good: A copy which may have one or more minor drawbacks (light chipping or
sunning to jacket, price-clipped jacket, discolouration to boards, toning to pages,
prior owner signature etc) but that is solid and readable.

Reading copy only: A copy that is less than desirable. may have creased covers,
heavy page toning or faults to jacket such as closed tears, open tears, heavy chipping
or sunning, binding faults, etc. Still a readable copy but one you may want to
dispose of after reading, or upgrade later if you are a collector.

Ex-Library: Usually bad news. A book which has been in a public library and been
defaced by all the indignities to which such volumes are subjected labels with call
numbers, plastic which has left residual tape marks to front and/or rear endpapers,
book pockets with borrowing slips or cards, library rubber stamps, etc.

I try to describe the condition of all books as fully as possible, including

paperbacks.

number edited by the great writer of strange tales, Aickman. Pages heavily
browned/age-toned, back cover has two creases, one long. Despite condition, this is
one to snap up as it is increasingly scarce, and Aickmans intro alone is worth the

Molesworth Special. Published by Graeme Phillips
from Scotland, Cyaegha is a high quality digest-sized
horror zine which often features Lovecraftian material. This issue reprints all the
Lovecraftian writings of Australian SF writer of the 1950s, Vol(taire) Molesworth,
together with an article Vol Molesworths Lovecraftian Tales by James Doig. This
is no 22 of only 75 numbered copies issued. This copy signed at the intro by Leigh
Blackmore, who provided much of the material, written and illustrative, for this
publication. Scarce. $25

lge fmt pbk. An abridged edition of The Mammoth Book of Ghost Stories (aka The
Phantastic Book of Ghost Stories), this omits 10 tales from the earlier versions but still
contains 40+ stories. 528 pp. Mainly 19th century authors, but some moderns
including John Glasby, Robert Aickman, Ramsey Campbell, Basil Copper etc. Dalby,
who sadly passed away last year, was a distinguished editor and expert in the field.

to Bloch for sale by dealer L.W. Currey. Additional inclusions are photocopies of three
letters to Bloch in Lovecrafts handwriting, these being dated Sept 19, 1925; [April]
1935 and another [April 1925); all three letters consist of two pages of Lovecrafts
writing. Together with an additional original signed letter by scholar S.T. Joshi
from Hoboken NJ dated in July 1990, to Lovecraftian researcher Dan Lorayne. Joshis
letter mentions Loraynes having sent him a letter from Lovecraft to Bloch, and other
matters including the then-upcoming Lovecraft Centennial Conference, and Frank
[Belknap] Longs likely attendance. Joshis letter is signed in black ink with his
initials (only) in his usual fashion. The Joshi letter also has a notation at the top in
black ink [unsigned] by Leigh Blackmore regarding Daniel Loraynes supplying of
the copies of the Lovecraft hand-written letters plus the Joshi covering letter to
Blackmore. The Supplement volume (18 pp incl Errata) is perfectbound. This unique
archive represents Blackmores working copies of Lovecrafts letters to Bloch up
until the publication of Letters to Robert Bloch and Others (Hippocampus Press, 2015).
