Dear sir,

PFA our point wise reply as flows

For 1st floor

1. Along major span moment direction ( along two spans and single span directions) tendons has to be profiled to
get maximum drape by keeping low point as 35 mm (clear) (Refer attachment 1) and rebar orientation as to modify
accordingly.
: Low point revised to 50mm, Please note we are showing height from soffit to C.G of the duct.
(Cover 25mm+
B1 layer 8mm+
B2 layer 8mm+
Duct C.G 20mm
=(25+8+8+(20/2)=51mm =50mm for low point.

2. Vertical tendons in-between C 51 to C 53 / C 26 to C 27 / C 34 to C 35 has to increased

to 4S instead of 3S to satisfy the flexural & serviceability requirements.
: Increased to (3x5s+2x3s) in each and every span.

3. For PTB 1 and PTB 2 at support location shear links need to be increased to T8-100 instead of T8-150.
: Shear links spacing changed to T8-100 mm c/c.

4. In Between C 48 to C 109 and C 56 to C 116 horizontal tendons in drop panel location we are recommending to
provide straight profile for better flexural resistance at drop & slab junction (Refer attachment 2), if not rebar has to
add to satisfy flexural & serviceability.
: Flexural & serviceability capacity found OK. Pls go through attached capacity calcs for the same.

For 2nd floor

1. Along major span moment direction (single span directions) tendons has to be profiled to get maximum drape
by keeping low point as 35 mm (clear) (Refer attachment 1) and rebar orientation as to modify accordingly.
: Same as above point-1 (1st floor level

2. As PT Beam designed for only self-weight and wall loads, without impacting other design parameters PT tendons
can be reduced by 10 to 15% to control the transfer stresses.
:We have checked stress at transfer stage & found that some stresses are exceeded by minor margin So we
recommend to stress this particular PT beam after concrete gains strength of 35 Mpa..

3. Side face rebar was not provided as per IS code.

: Side face REBAR provided as per IS code.

4. Drawing shows for placing of anchorage / provision for anchorage is 345mm, it seems to be less ( cover, links &
anchor size = 30+10+265 = 305mm).
we are recommending increasing the splay to minimum of 450 to 500mm for better bonding of concrete around
anchor.
: The splay changed to 450mm As per given Tendons.

5. Horizontal slab tendons has to be increased to 4S instead of 3S to satisfy the serviceability requirements.
:Increased to (3x5s+2x3s) in each and every span.

For 4th floor

1. Along major span moment direction (single span directions) tendons has to be profiled to get maximum drape
by keeping low point as 35 mm (clear) (Refer attachment 1) and rebar orientation as to modify accordingly.
: Low point revised to 50mm, Please note we are showing height from soffit to C.G of the duct.
(Cover 25mm+
B1 layer 8mm+
B2 layer 8mm+
Duct C.G 20mm
=(25+8+8+(20/2)=51mm =50mm for low point.

2.Vertical tendons in-between C 26 to C 35 has to increase to 4S instead of 3S to satisfy the flexural requirements.
: Increased to (3x5s+2x3s) in each and every span.

3. Horizontal slab tendons in-between C 58 to C 98 has to be increased to 4S instead of 3S to satisfy the serviceability
requirements.
: Increased to (3x5s+2x3s) in each and every span.
