Content Standard : 2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety of
linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct
meaning.
Learning Standard : 2.2.2 Able to read and understand phrases and sentences in linear and non-linear texts.
Objective : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
a. Read the story Goldilock and the Three Bears.
b. Answer WH-Questions based on the story.

Set induction 1) Teacher introduces the character in the story by using
stick puppet.
Presentation 1) Pupils read the story Goldilock and the Three Bears.
2) Teacher explain the story with actions.
Practice/ Production 1) Pupils answer WH-Questions based on the story they
read.
Closure 1) Teacher recalls the vocabulary.
