For UF white cast cheese in cups

Food Machinery A/S

UF - White Cheese Plant

Mode of operation
The plants described in this leaet are for casting of UF
cheeses such as White cheese - Feta and Domiati, in
retail containers, which are stackable plastic cups.

The plastic cups are placed in the cup magazines from

where they are dispensed onto the lling conveyor,
which will move them stepwise under the slip spray
station, the lling station, under the antifoam spray and
unto the pushover station at the inlet to the coagulation
conveyor.

The coagulation time depends on the type of cheese to

be produced, but will normally be from 20 to 30 minutes.

- Siemens S7 control system
- Control panels for changing proces-parametres The machinery is made from stainless steel and is
easy to clean with a hose. Alternatively the coagula-
tion conveyor unit can be cleaned by its own con-
veyor washing unit securing that this conveyor belt
always is clean. The washing proces normally takes
place when the lling machine is under CIP.

For sterilizing of the membranes/ foil lids a special

membrane/ foil sterilizing unit can be added to the
machine. In this case Primodan produces mem-
branes and lids on reels. These reels are mounted
in a unit from where they are UV sterilized before
entering the machine.

Primodan can offer mechanical and electrical super-

veyor, delivery to accumulation conveyor,
packing robot and cardboard handling
and sealing equipment.

Packing can also be done in plastic crates

in which case the cardboard box handling
unit shown on the photo is substituted by a
crate handling unit.

Cup making
The standard plant is provided with a stain-
less steel cup magazine but as optional
feature a cup making machine can be
included.
The machine thermoform the cups from
a plasticcoil, and convey them direct into
the lling machine. In case of production
stop a special designed cup buffer device,
automatically stack the cup-production into
piles and then reload when the lling is
restarted.

Canister plant
Primodan Food Machinery A/S also supplies automatic plants for
casting of cheese in cannisters.
The photo to the left shows a plant for 2.000 kilo/hour of Feta

plant will be according to client demands.
A special leaet will be forwarded on requst.
