At camp this year, teens enjoyed outdoor activities like tubing,

hiking, horseback riding, basketball, kickball, and ultimate fris-
bee. In addition to outdoor activities and group games, we had
two chapel sessions each day with the theme of RISE UP.
Caleb walked the teens through the story of Joseph and en-
couraged them to rise above their challenges through the
strength of God. We had some amazing worship times and at
the end of the week 15 youth accepted Christ!

Camper of the week
I've been going to Aim Right since I was five years old. I started
going to Kids Club because my older siblings went. Ever since then
I've been going to Bible study and City Night along with my older
brother Christian. I believe that as I grew up with Aim Right I've
grown to be a better follower of Jesus. The people there have
helped me through my problems to become stronger in faith.
This year I experienced the best camp yet. It's honestly unex-
plainable how great it was. Camp always gives me the oppor-
tunity to unplug, but this year I was able to let go of all the bag-
gage and give it to God. I was also able to see others do the
same. Knowing where they come from and what they've been
going through, honestly, just pushed me to be stronger and to
help be there for them. I've already accepted Jesus into my heart
but some of them haven't yet. I was willing to be there for them
and see that love of God shine through them . As the Camper of
the Week, I was glad to see that I was appreciated for what I
was doing. The love that God gave me was more than enough so
I chose to give some back . I'm very grateful not only for camp
but for the Aim Right staff. Without them I wouldn't be as strong
in faith as I am now. I've learned a lot and I hope more people
can learn and grow as much as I did. Aim
Right will forever be my family and I hope
one day in the future I can change the lives
of teens and young children through God,
as they did with my siblings and me.

 This summer turned out to be more

busy than past summers, but this ena-
bled us to stay involved in the lives of the young kids and
teenagers who attend Aim Right. In past sum-
mers, Aim Right activities slowed down when
the school year ended, but this year we added a
few programs to impact them all summer long.
Youth Haven This year a total of 24 kiddos from
downtown Phoenix got to experience
this awesome week long camp in Eloy, AZ.
Activities included chapel, archery, gym,
maze, petting farm, swimming, crafts,
sports, gaga ball, bouldering wall, bikes
and much more.
Vacation Bible School
Our VBS theme this year was Cave
Quest: Following Jesus, the light of the
world. We had more than 100 kids
attend over the course of two weeks in June & July. Kids
learned the importance of following Jesus and how He guides
us when we do not know the way. After VBS, many of the new
kids decided they want to attend Kingdom Kids at Aim Right.
We are excited to see them again this fall.
A special Thank You to the youth groups of United Bethel (Plain
City, OH) and Dayspring Mennonite Church (Midland, VA). We
would not have been able provide VBS for the children without
their enthusiastic help. They left a positive lasting impression on
the kids as well as in the community through service projects.

We hosted two weeks of day camp
Day Camp
at the beginning of June for our ele-
mentary aged students, with more than 30 in attendance.
Activities included visiting a dairy farm, visiting Arizona
Museum of Natural History, Childrens Museum, movies,
swimming, and painting. Kids loved having a break from
their normal routine, and participated in our activities
with great enthusiasm.
As a person who grew up in rural Ohio, it was fun for
me to observe the kids visit the dairy farm. For many of
them, it was their first time out of the city and seeing
cows, chickens, and goats. It was a novel experience.

Manhood Camp
mer, Branden Hershberger and
Kegan Yoder (interns) took four teens to LA
for UYWIs annual Manhood Camp. This two
-day camp consists of skill-shops where boys
can learn basic car maintenance skills, how
to prepare for a job interview, good
etc. The main session addressed the
problem of fatherlessness that many
urban youth face today.
