1. Measurement of Hydrogen Thermophysical Properties at Very High Pressure

Thermophysical properties are essential information for the design and simulation of the
equipment. We measure thermophysical properties (PVT relation, viscosity, thermal conductivity
etc.) of hydrogen, and develop the equation of state and the correlation equations.
Micro cooler 10cm

2. Development of J-T type Micro Cooler

Heat devises for the micro electronic devices are desire to downsize and upgrade.
We develop the wire type JT micro cooler that has about 1mm diameter for the spot cooling.

3. Wettability control and Heat Transfer Enhancement on the Solid Surface Super-hydrophilic
High accurate cooling control becomes possible with the wettability control
on the heat transfer surface.
Super-hydrophobic
Our purposes are to establish the technique that controls the only surface wettability with the
photocatalyst and to reveal the effect of surface wettability for the vapor-liquid phase change.

4. Laser micro processing
Laser processing is currently widely used for the drilling of various materials including metals,
polymers and glasses. We studies Laser micro-drilling/grooving with a Bessel laser beam.
Micro-machining without precise control of the work distance was shown to be possible because
a Bessel beam has a deep focal depth.

5. Synthesis of CNTs
CNTs (Carbon nanotubes) are synthesized from catalyst metal nano-particles that were
Laser machining system
generated by laser vaporization technique.
In this study, we introduced DMA in LCCVD technique in order to observe the effect of catalyst
metal nano-particles diameter on CNTs.
