Greetings:

Good Morning Class.

Prayer:

Everybody stand up for our opening prayer.

A. MOTIVATION

Learners will listen to some of the famous Japanese music.

What country this kind of music came from?

What have you noticed with their music?

B. LESSON PROPER

The state of Japan or Nihon or Nipon is an Island nation in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies
to the east of the Sea of Japan, North Korea, South Korea, and Russia, stretching from the Sea of
Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south. The characters that make up
Japans name mean sun origin which is why Japan is sometimes referred to as the Land of the
Rising Sun. Japan has the worlds tenth largest population.

Three types of traditional music in Japan:

Theatrical
Instrumental
Court music
C. GENERALIZATION

Let me ask everyone. What do you think is the diference between the music of Japan and the music of
our country?

D. APPLICATION
Form a group composed of 8 members class. Each group will discuss either of the three types of
traditional music of Japan.
