(4) Application Form & Information Brochure
4.1 Mode of Sale :
a) Candidates shall obtain prescribed application forms from their respective colleges/schools or the office of the
DEEPER at Pune by showing exam fees deposition ship or directly paying cash to the college anthorities or
District committee members of Deeper. b) The examination forms will be issued to interested candidates only
against direct deposition of cash in the A/c of Bank of Maharashtra or Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn on the
Nationalised Bank in the name of DEEPER payable at Pune., c) The said application form and information
brochure shall be made available to the candidates on cash payment of 20/- as an administrative charges at the
designated centres or in the office of District Entrance Exam Performance Enhancement & Reserach (DEEPER)
Pune., d) The information brochure and the application form for District Competence Test 11 will only be
available on payment of the application form fees & the examination fees. Thus candidate should pay 430/- (Exam
Fees 380/- + form fees 50/-). 20/- Administrative charges to be paid in cash., e) It is same for all the candidates.,
f) The candidate must fill the application in his/her own handwriting using black ball point pen. Filling up of
application form by the candidate shall be done under the guidance of the subject guide. The application should be
submitted by the candidate on or before prescribed date to the District Entrance Exam Performance Enhancement
& Research (DEEPER) Pune office or Application receiving Centres designated in AnnexureF., g) An
incomplete application form may be rejected., (i) The candidate shall submit one and only one application
form., (ii)In case, candidate submits more than one application form, he/she shall be disqualified.
4.2 Admit card and receipt - cum - Identity Card.
a) District Entrance Exam Performance Enhancement & Reserach (DEEPER) Pune shall issue receipt-
cum-identity card. The candidate must preserve the receipt-cum- identity card and must bring it at the time of
District Competence Test 11., b) In case, the candidate does not receive Admit Card on or before the prescribed
date, he/she should approach, for getting DUPLICATE Admit Card. Please note that the issue of Admit Card is
just an enabling provision for appearing at District Competence Test 11., c) District Competence Test 11
qualification does not imply that the candidate is eligible for admission to Govt. medical or Engineering College.
(5) Certificates
5.1 Photocopies are mandatory along with Application form.
a) SSC (or equivalent) certificate and SSC Statement of Marks., b) HSC (or equivalent) Statement of Marks in case
of repeaters
5.2 Constitutional reservation claim.
a) Caste Certificate, b) Caste validity certificate (CVC) (if ready), c) Non-creamy layer certificate
(for NT-2, NT-3 & OBC).
5.3 Specified Reservation Claim
a) Defence Category, b) PH Claim, c) MKB Claim, d) HA Claim
(6) Declaration of Result & Preparation of Merit List
District Entrance Exam P erformance Enhancement & Research (DEEPER) P une will conduct the
examination, evaluate the answer sheets and prepare the merit list.
PREPARATION OF MERIT LIST:
The merit list for the medical & engineering aspirants shall be prepared separately & selection of first will be
carried out as per the reservation policy.
6.1 TIE-BREAKERS (For Medical aspirants availing Option BB, MB)
In case of equal marks at the District Competence Test 10, the following procedure shall be adopted for deciding
inter se merit:
a) F irst level: A candidate with higher total of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the District
Competence Test 11 Examination shall be preferred, if the tie still persists, then:, b) Second level: A candidate
with higher marks in Biology at the District Competence Test 11 Examination shall be preferred, if the tie still
persists then:, c) Third level: A candidate with higher marks in Chemistry at the District Competence Test 11
Examination shall be preferred, if the tie still persists then:, d) Fourth Level: A candidate with higher percentage
of aggregate marks at the SSC (or equivalent) Examination shall be preferred, if the tie still persists, then:, e)
Fifth level: An older candidate shall be preferred over a younger candidate.
6.2 TIE-BREAKERS (For Engineering & Pharmacy aspirants availing Option MM) : In case of equal marks at the
District Competence Test 10 Examination, the following procedure shall be adopted for deciding inter-se merit: -

7.0 SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship of 4.00 Lacs will be offered to divisional toppers of 8 divisions under perview of DCT-11.
These divisions are Mumbai, Nasik, Pune, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Amaravati & Nagpur, Latur, PCM & PCB
Topper amongst these divisions will be offered these scholarships. The terms & conditions for the same will be
displayed on website www.deeper.co.in on or before last date of submission of form.

General Observations Regarding Filling of the Application Forms in DCT - 11
Some students have not written their Roll numbers properly
Some are having duplicate numbers
Some have changed their centres on time. It is strictly not allowed.
Some of them without putting their all details submitted the forms
Some students submitted the forms in time, but colleges could not submit it to Deeper office
Note : Deeper shall conduct Exam on same Grounds on 2nd April, 2011 for better understanding of the students. Exam
Fees with DCT- 250/-, Seperately 400/-. Exam Centers will be the Divisional HQ & Prominent District Places.

Instructions to Candidates
1. This question booklet contains 100 Objective Type Questions in the subjects of Physics (50) & Chemistry (50).
2. The question paper and OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) Answer Sheet is issued seperately at the start of the examination.
3. Section A contains 50 questions in the subject of Physics, Section B contains 50 Questions in the subject of Chemistry.
4. Choice and sequence for attempting questions will be as per the convenience of the candidate.
5. Candidate should carefully read the instructions printed on the Question Booklet and Answer Sheet and make the correct
entries on the Answer Sheet. As Answer Sheets are designed to suit the OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION (OMR) SYSTEM,
special care should be taken to mark the entries correctly. Special care should be taken to fill QUESTION BOOKLET
VERSION, SERIAL No. and DCT Roll No. accurately. The correctness of entries has to be cross-checked by the invigilators.
The candidate must sign on the Answer Sheet and Question Booklet.

7. Determine the correct answer from out of the four available options given for each question.

Fill the appropriate circle completely like this , for answering a particular question. Mark with Black ink ball point pen only.
Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one (1) mark. There is No Negative Marking. No mark shall be
awarded for marking two or more answers of same question, scraching or overwriting.
10. Use of whitener or any other material to erase/hide the circle once filled is not permitted.
11. Avoid overwriting and/or striking of answers once marked.
12. Rough work should be done only on the blank space provided on the Question Booklet. Rough work should not be done on
the Answer Sheet.
13. The required mathematical tables (Log etc.) will be provided along with the question booklet.
14. Immediately after the prescribed examination time is over, the Question Booklet and Answer Sheet is to be returned to the
invigilator. Confirm that both the candidate and invigilator have signed on question booklet and Answer sheet.
15. No candidate is allowed to leave the examination hall till the Paper gets over.
Important Instructions - How to Mark In The OMR Answersheet
1. Use only BLACK ink ball point pen to darken/mark the appropriate circle.
2. Mark should be dark and should completely fill the circle.
3. Mark/darken only one circle for each entry. The answer once marked is final, any change in the option once marked, done
by any method, will amount to a invalid/incorrect response.
4. A lightly/faintly marked/darkened circle may also be treated as a incorrect/wrong method of marking and will be rejected
by the Optical Scanner.
5. Marks should only be done in the space provided.
6. Please do not fold the answer sheet and do not make any stray marks on it.
Marking of Responses :-
There will be four answer options for each question. The candidate will indicate his/her response to the question by darkening the
appropriate circle completely with BLACK ink ball point pen. For example Question No. 99 in the Question Paper reads as follows:-
