Each student will introduce their names. They will pick a Nips chocolate and will tell something based on the
color of Nips that was pulled out of the bag.

The teacher will present the new lesson and the objective for the day. To start with, the students
will be doing activity 1. The teacher will paste the activity on the board and the students will answer on their
worksheets. The class will discuss their answers.
C. Comparison and Abstraction
The class will be divided into 3 groups and will choose a leader/ reporter that will discuss the
following:
1. Definition of Research
2. Characteristics of Research
3. Importance of Research
They will be provided with the materials for the discussion.
D. Generalizations
The teacher will call someone from the class to summarize what was discussed in class for this
day.
E. Application
The teacher will ask:
1. What is the importance of research in your education?
2. As a student, what do you want to research on
F. Evaluation
The teacher will now ask the students to write improved version of their own definition previously written in
Activity 1.
