Questions and Formal Responses

Q 1. One of the consultancy objectives is to prioritise transport network infrastructure

investment options as per project Brief 4.1.1. Please advise whether a list of investment
options will be provided to the Consultant, or is there an expectation for the Consultant to
develop investment options?
A 1. The successful Consultant team shall develop the investment options (together with
investment prioritisation criteria) in direct consultation with the Working Group, PCG and
Steering Committee.

Q 2. Will high-level cost estimates of the investment options be provided to the Consultant if
deemed required?

A 2. High level cost estimates of the investment options will not be provided to the
successful Consultant team. They are to be provided by the Consultant team to assist with
the investment prioritisation process only. Assume, for the purposes of tendering that up to
a maximum of ten (10) high level cost estimates (to +-40% accuracy) will be required for this
exercise. Please also assume that no topographic survey, utilities survey nor geotechnical
data will be provided to support the high level cost estimates.
