United stated pregnancy is one of the highest so far
The highest percentage rate for teen pregnancy is asians
In 2015 the birth of hispanic teen was twice as much more than non hispanics
In 2010 teen pregnancy prevention and pregnancy accounted for billions of dollars in the
united states
The percentage is kinda going down but that is not because less tees are having sex its
because more are aware and getting birth control
50% of teen moms graduate
90% of women who do not get pregnant graduate high school and receive a diploma
Teen mom babies have a lower school achievement percentage
Getting pregnant and birth is a huge dropout factor in high schoolers
Many teen moms suffer from unemployment issues after childbirth
Teen mom babies have a higher percentage of being incarcerated
Have a high percentage of also becoming teen moms
Being a teen mom bring a lot of economic and social cost long term
Adolescents facing significant health disparities are more likely to become teen moms
Low socioeconomic conditions are very favorable to the percentage of teen moms

Health care is a must when undergoing a teen pregnancy

While pregnant you want to make sure you have as many options for doctors and
medicine as possible
Make an appointment as soon as you find out you're pregnant
By making that first appointment you can talk about options
There are making routes to take abortions, adoption or keep the baby
If the option chose is keeping it, prenatal care is a must
Prenatal care ensures your health and more importantly the babies health
If you can not tell your parents then tell a school counselor or nurse
By telling them they can refer community help and other things to ensure your health
At the first appointment they do blood test, pelvic exam , and pap test
The first trimester is the first 3 months
You will visit the doctor every month in the first trimester
Must have a healthy diet
While pregnant do not smoke or drinking
Exercise makes the girl stronger for labor and delivery
Sleep is necessary, 8-9 hours is a need
Use condoms while having sex
Make a financial plan for when the baby is born
Teens should stay in some sort of school while pregnant
School will give you a better insight on being a better parent

There's sooo many birth control

There's implanon or nexplanon, while is implanted in the arm
This birth control is good for 3 years and is highly effective
The only down thing about it is the irregular bleeding or weight gain
There's an IUD, which is a device inserted into the cervix
Copper IUD can last up to 10 years
Levonorgestrel IUD can last from 3-5 years
This birth control provides the sense of not almost forgetting about
Disadvantages are you may be sore a few days after insertion
Progestin injection is another birth control
It's a hormone containing a hormone to kill off sperm
You have to do it every 3 months
Could increase the risk of blood clots
Contraceptive patch, is a patch a girl can apply that releases that same hormone that kills
off sperm
Only off thing about it is teen tend to forget about it every week
Birth control pills, taken every day by mouth
Teens FORGET, all the time not a good call
This like many birth controls DOES NOT save you from STDs
Male condom is another form of contraceptive provided to teens
These prevent the spread of STDs and protect from sperm reaching the cervix
Only downfall is they BREAK at times and couples tend to forget
Female condom, is a condom a girl can put in before sex
These protect from pregnancy, and STDs although they slip during intercourse and can
hurt or be difficult to put in before sex
Pulling out, is a ridiculous yet used 99% of the time birth control, before ejaculation
Spermicide is also a frequently used form of birth control
Spermicide is a gel, cream or foam that is put deep in the vagina and is used right before
sex to assure the killing off of the sperm that enter the vagina
