INNOVATION GARAGE
ALUMNI DONATIONS BY
MR PRABHAKARA
Innovation Garage and the student community of NITW would like to thank Mr. Prabhakar
Puvvada for his continuous feedback and support.
Mr.Prabhakar, an alumnusfrom the class of 1980, closely observes the innovation and
maker culture of our college and often finds creative ways to give back to the college.
He has donated equipment to the facility and was key to the IG awards that aim to
encourage innovation in the campus. His suggestions on Facebook have been invaluable
and helped us improve the quality of resources offered to foster the innovation culture.

A maker space is not solely a science lab, wood-
This summer , Innovation Garage conducted an intern Drive for students of NIT Warangal with the
aim to provide them with exposure to industry and startup ecosystem. We partnered with Yellow
Yellow Messenger is one of the successful startups that has emerged from the NIT Warangal
campus with clients such as Microsoft, TATA Power, Pepsico and Diageo. They were looking for
summer interns for their technology department and content writers for their marketing department.
They selected Anirudh Pabba and ABSR Satesh , 3rd Year students from NIT Warangal. They were
quite happy with the selections and the work done by the students.
Note: If any start-up is interested in partnering with Innovation Garage for hiring interns, please
Priyam Khandelwal :
IG is the place where most of my batch mates have startedprojects. We got to know how to
start workon real world projects. It was the place which gave us the opportunity to work with
amazing seniors. The Hackathons gave us really good projects to showcase in our Resume
which later helped during interviews where interviewer was really interested in them and
I have done ML related project in one of the Hackathon, though it was a very small but it was
helpful for me during internship interviews. The thingsIhave learnt in the workshopsIhave
attended in IG were actually used during my Internship project andIdidnt have to spend

Along with diverse knowledge of various present day Technologies along with seniors
guidance, I also worked as a student team member for IG. This helped me create immense
opportunities for students of NITW in bringing the best out of them, which made me learn
valuable management skills, helping me to become Student coordinator for Technozion 2017.
Anmol Kulkarni:
My expectation of college was a space where people with brilliant ideas would come together
and make amazing things that people could be proud of. Once I came to college, I couldn't
find what I was looking for, until Innovation Garage opened in second semester. I remember
Game Dev Weekend Hack being the first event I attended and met two awesome individuals ,
Naveen and Anand. It was also where I met VIshal Reddy and we worked together on our first
game. Ever since, I have attended almost every event, hackathon conducted by Innovation
Garage. Thanks to Naveen, IG was the place where I conducted my first event , my first
workshop which ended up having 350+ participants. Apart from all this, the numerous projects
that I worked on in IG and during hackathons has helped me learn a lot and has made my
resume colourful. The technical, communication and managerial skills that I picked up thanks
to Innovation Garage led me to bag an Intern offer from Microland which eventually converted
to a PPO. As the General Manager of Innovation Garage, it's now my dream to provide the
same brilliant opportunities that were presented to me through IG to every student on campus.
Innovation Garage is a student run body working towards inculcating the maker
culture among students by conducting various talks, events and hackathons. It has
been made possible by incredible alumni support (guest lectures, mentorship,
intern projects, monetary support) and student participation. Please connect with
usor contribute towards the growth ofstudent community of Innovation Garage. We
assure you we will continue our good work.
